And it all started with a visit to a friend's condo.

From Architecture to Intention: How Mim Began

Mim Concept was founded by Anh, an architect-turned-designer with an eye for clean lines, natural materials, and meaningful spaces.

Her journey began not in a showroom or design studio, but in the living room of her best friend, Joey. One quiet afternoon, Anh visited Joey’s newly renovated condo—a space filled with generic furniture that felt cold and disconnected. As someone who deeply values design with soul, Anh left with a lingering feeling: “We can do better than this.”

That moment sparked something deeper—a realization that modern homes deserved furniture that was not only functional and beautiful, but also ethically crafted and thoughtfully made.

Anh left her career in architecture to follow this vision. And not long after, Joey joined her, becoming the second founder of Mim Concept. Together, they built more than a brand—they built a mission.

What started as a personal pursuit quickly evolved into a greater calling: to design furniture that feels as good as it looks, that’s made responsibly, and that doesn’t cost the earth—literally or financially.

Every piece we make is handcrafted using solid wood and steel frames—chosen for both their strength and visual warmth. We never use veneers, particle board, or fast furniture shortcuts. Each piece comes with a 5-year warranty, because we believe in long-term living.

Unlike many furniture brands, all of our products are made in one single factory, located in Binh Duong, Southern Vietnam. This is a conscious choice—our way of ensuring ethical labor, better working conditions, and a sustainable manufacturing process we can truly stand behind.

Our factory is more than a supplier. They are partners in our mission. We visit often, stay connected daily, and maintain full transparency from raw materials to final product.
